The endeavour of Destiny Alive Church is to lead people by example, action, and excellence in word as Jesus Christ was, is, and is to come. Further, in doing so, our desire is to do this by humbly serving God and His people just as Jesus intends (Matthew 5:5; Mark 10:45; John 12:26).

 

We believe in the five-fold ministry for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry or service, as we are commissioned by God to do so, to build up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12). We believe then that five-fold ministries will be birthed, developed, and sent from Destiny Alive Church. Furthermore, according to this scripture and others in the Bible, we believe that the work of the ministry is for the whole body of Christ and that the five-fold ministers are in the church to facilitate or help this mandate to be set in motion.

 

Therefore, we certainly have a team mentality, as we have been "blessed to be a blessing". As forerunners like Elijah and John the Baptist, we want to pass on the baton unto an Elisha generation to "restore the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers" (Malachi 4:5-6) and so "press on toward the goal for the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14).
